| Launched in 1987, Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications ( DECT ) is a flexible digital radio access standard for cordless communication in residential, business and public environments. It employs several advanced techniques that enable highly efficient use of the radio spectrum. As a result, it delivers high voice quality, raw data rates up to 1Mb/S, secure communications and a low risk of interference compared to other wireless technologies such as WiFi, 433MHz, Wavenis, Zigbee, Bluetooth, Z-wave and so on. The link budget of 123 dB, DECT clearly meets the range requirements for a home network and gives consumers the freedom to move around and install nodes anywhere in their homes.

New Research on DECT Acceptance in Hospitals:
Philips have recently published results from research into the acceptance and benefits of DECT cordless phones in the hospital environment. The research is based upon usage of DECT phones by key staff since 1988 at the Queen Margaret Hospitals in Scotland where some 220 cordless phones are now in use. Research results indicated that 98% of staff questioned thought the phones had saved time, with one respondent estimating this to be as much as one hour per day @ 96% of respondents thought that the phones had contributed to an improvement in patient card. |

How it works:
The remote handset sends signal to the Gateway Station, transfer the signal to ‘CIR-D800’ and to control any appliances with IR sensor. The handset can remotely control like turning ON/OFF, change channel, volume and so on to any appliances. CIR-D800 can binding with 8 devices, which can be 20 functional points for each device. User easy to control by DCT-518 remote handset. |

How the CMP-D400 works:
The CMP-D400 is 4 Channel Socket has an individual switch with power cord than can be controlled by the HANDSET and Manuel turn power ON/OFF. Each Channel has a own IP number that you can turn ON/OFF anytime using your handset. CMP-D400 series is applicable for multi appliances such as TV, Stereo, PC and so on.
